Are there issues you feel are not being reported, or topics that need more attention? Could you write about them?

The Online Society depends on content and articles from our readers. We’ve published articles from students to MPs to trade unionists, but we need more. We need you.

FAQs:

What can I write about?
-Whatever needs saying! Our bread and butter is politics and society, but we’re interested in anything interesting.

What kind of style are you looking for?
-Once again, our only criterion is that it’s interesting. Academic essays, satire, observation pieces, polemics- whatever you feel comfortable with.

Can I submit work already published elsewhere?
-Sure! In fact, if you already write a blog or column we’ll plug it if we publish your article.

Do I need any experience?
-Not at all. We’re not journalists or reporters, just a bunch of students who felt there wasn’t a good platform to show off what people were saying and writing.

How can I submit writing?
-Just email us at [email protected]. Please include your full name, and a short bio/intro – so that we can credit you accordingly, and also allow readers to know you just a bit better! (Anonymous submissions are also welcomed.) For other info, check out our contact page.

I don’t really want to write anything.
-That’s not a question. We’ll let you off though if you check out the website or like us on facebook Submit Content icon wink .

Please spread the word, and don’t be shy about submitting anything you’ve written or want to write.

Thanks for your time - if you’ve any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
